The Lake Erie Watershed Basin includes portions of Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and the Canadian province of Ontario. It is part of the Great Lakes System, which eventually joins the Atlantic Ocean. A large majority of the population in Erie County, PA lives within the Lake Erie Watershed.
